I have been using LinkedIn for quite some time now to syndicate my content as well as meet new people. I think the best feature of LinkedIn is the groups. There you can find some great like minded people who love to read your stuff. As well as find some great content ideas.

    • Clint, thank you very much for this tip , I have noticed there are some very interesting groups and they are local or international. We all will find ones that are a good fit for our businesses. Thank you for visiting my sites again.

      Take care Rosemary

    Rosemary,
I love using LinkedIn. I’ve met a lot of people in groups I am in and have been using it for years. I used to call it my “secret weapon” but the word is out now and many are starting to use it.

You have given excellent points of How To use it. That is so important because many people go on LinkedIn and just get turned off.

I like your advice about using your headline and also speaking in the first person. Those are great ways to invite people to engage with you.

    Cheers,
    Donna

These are some really helpful tips. I could definitely do a better job with lead generation and relationship building on Linkedin, and these will give me a push in the right direction.

It’s also important to note that Linkedin users has the highest household income of all the social networks. It also has the most decision makers in their network.

    Thanks for the tips!

    • Hi Dewane,

You have made an excellent point there about household income and profiles of linkedin users . We all need a nudge in the right direction at times. I was getting a big nudge from many business contacts . Take care Rosemary

I just did a search on my son’s computer (I’m logged in to Google on my own, and that makes a difference in the results), and the #1 spot for me is Twitter, followed by my blog, then Facebook, and then LinkedIn. Strangely, the #5 spot is held by MySpace, and I seldom go there! But I do syndicate there.

Thank you for the helpful tips on how to set up my LinkedIn account for better results. I am going to follow your advice.

    • Hi Willena,

I was surprised by linkedin at the time of writing the post I had not been there much. But I would go to my Facebook business page daily. Thanks for visiting . take care Rosemary

    Hello Rosemary<
There is no doubt about it we engage on Facebook as a company but we certainly have far more new business come to us via LinkedIn it really is under used by most businesses and that's a great pity. Hopefully your post will inspire many more of them to look at LinkedIn as a valuable business tool :)
